Paul Sen (M.Inst.Ch.P. ACSM HFI) Personal Trainer

Having worked as a Chiropodist, Paul already had the understanding of Anatomy and Physiology before qualifying as a Certified HFI Fitness Instructor.
Paul then went on to complete four Marathons to raise funds for Spinal Research whilst qualifying as a certified Health Fitness Specialist with the American College of Sport Medicine.

Fionnuala Sen (BA CIMA SNHS Nutrition) Business Manager

Fionnuala started out as a UK qualified Management Accountant. Her role is largely involved in the day to day running of the business, and she is your contact when enquiring about Renaissance.
Fionnuala studied with the London based School of Natural Health Sciences and gained a diploma in Nutrition in 2006. She is currently studying for her Advanced level diploma, and works closely at the Academy with Dr Jean Millar.

Dr. Jean Millar (MB.ChB) Medical Doctor

Dr Jean Millar is a British GP with over 30 years in practice. She has also trained extensively in homeopathy, hypnotherapy and eating for health. When appropriate and acceptable to the patient, she recommends combining traditional medicine with complimentary therapies.
Dr Millar founded her Spanish practice Clinica Perlamar, Calpe, on the Costa Blanca in 2003. From this clinic in addition to her General Practice, she runs a healthy weight loss programme for local residents. Dr Millar teaches a simple eating plan, which when applied correctly, will increase energy and alertness, and address problems such as obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, allergies, diabetes, migraine and sometimes insomnia and depression.

Abby Hopkins (BA (Hons) ANEP) Pilates - Aquagym Instructor - Retreat Manager

Abby started her Pilates training in 1998 while studying as a professional dancer at the London Studio Centre, where she gained a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre Dance. In 1999 she trained as an Instructor at the London Studio Centre's Body Control Centre. Pilates has been a way of life since her professional dance training and vital to prevent injury.
Abby has taught both in London and Spain in dance studios, gymnasiums, and privately. She is also a classical ballet, modern-jazz, and contemporary dance instructor. She is a member of ANEP, Spain's national association of recognised Pilates trainers.
Through personal programmes, Pilates benefits a wide range of clients. It is challenging enough for athletes, yet gentle enough for rehabilitation, and for anyone wishing to improve their total fitness, posture and appearance.

Toby specialises in posture and corrective exercise. Having trained with Premier Training International as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, he has six years experience working both in the UK and Spain. For Toby, Fitness is a journey, not a destination !

Francesca Stutely NLP Master Practitioner - Hatha Yoga Instructor - Life Coach - Rosen Practitioner

Francesca is a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Instructor. Through her use of Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT techniques) and Hypnotherapy, Fran helps clients to free themselves from negative feelings and beliefs; to break addictive behaviour patterns and undo blockages in order to move forward.
As a Hatha Yoga Instructor, Fran likes to incorporate Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation in her sessions.
Fran studied in Berkeley, California with Marion Rosen for two years and with Sue Brenner, Director of Rosen Centre East Coast for a further two years, completing her internship as a Rosen Practitioner in 1995.

Hans believes that Osteopathic Medicine can provide the basis for good health. By improving the mobility of joints, organs and the cranio-sacral system, the body’s own strength will enable it to function in a more balanced way.
Through his work, Hans has found that osteopathy, in conjunction with the correct diet and physical activity, can make life an even bigger joy.

Debra qualified at Christchurch College in Dorset before pursuing her career as a Holistic Massage Therapist. She ran a private practice in Bournemouth for a number of years, and is a great believer in the attitude that massage should be a necessity rather than a pampered treat.
The health of our muscles is important when living a fulfilling life and it is vital to treat and relieve the pain and stiffness caused by bad posture and work-related strain. Keen to add to the healing methods she could offer, Debra trained in Reiki and now offers both disciplines here in Spain.

Karen qualified as a Registered General Nurse from De-Montfort University Leicester in 1980. Since then she has gained other qualifications including Diabetic specialist nurse & Further Adult Education Teachers Certificate.
She has worked for many years in a busy general practice specialising in diabetic care; been a member of the diabetic faculty within the local hospital, and has also been the organiser of diabetic education for other nurses within the health authority. Karen is also a qualified community nurse, and worked for 6 years as a Community Nursing sister within Leicestershire.
Apart from her work as Renaissance Diabetic Specialist Nurse, Karen continues to work at a local practice offering a full range of diabetic care, and also as a Community nurse in the surrounding area.
